Janine Schweier of WSL with Angelo Conrado de Arruda Moura (UNESP, Brazil) will host an IUFRO webinar on the topic of digitalization in forestry.

The following is the schedule for the event - starting from 2pm (CEST) on 13 April 2023. Professor Raffaele Cavalli (University Padua, Italy) will open the session which will be followed by these talks:

• Henri Riihimaki (PreFor, FI). Future forestry with individual tree level data
• Pedro La Hera (SLU, Sweden). Machine data - generation and use in the era of autonomous machines
• Maurice Fallon (Oxford, UK). Using Walking Robots and Drones to build accurate 3D models of forests
• Arnaldo Gunzi (Klabin, Brazil). Digitalization opportunities and quantum computer

The aim of the webinar is not only to exchange knowledge but also coincides with the publication of a IJFE special issue on Digitialization of forest operations.
